What is your cancellation policy?
Cancel up to 24 hours before your tour start time for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable.
What happens if it rains?
We run rain or shine! We will not cancel a tour for weather unless there is a genuine safety concern. Bring an umbrella or poncho and comfortable shoes.
How will I find my guide?
Your guide will text you about an hour before your tour with specific meeting instructions. Each tour page lists the exact meeting point.
Are your tours wheelchair accessible?
Our Capitol Hill, Lincoln Assassination, and Georgetown tours are wheelchair accessible. Arlington National Cemetery involves hills and uneven terrain – contact us before booking and we’ll help you plan.
Are tours kid-friendly?
Absolutely. Our guides are great with kids and tailor stories for all ages. Families regularly tell us their kids called our guides the favorite part of their trip.
Can you accommodate private or larger groups?
Yes – private tours and larger groups are available on every experience. Contact us and we’ll build something around your group.
What should I bring?
Comfortable walking shoes, water, sunscreen in summer, and a camera. For tours entering federal buildings, avoid large bags and backpacks, and note that food and drink are not allowed inside.
Do I need to buy attraction tickets separately?
No – on tours that include venue entry (Capitol, Library of Congress, Ford’s Theatre, Petersen House), we reserve timed entry tickets for you. It’s all included in your price.
